Physically, through healing sessions my ailments have been diminished or relieved altogether. Specifically, I have felt as though something is “stuck” in my throat. After a couple of sessions with Laurra these symptoms have become less frequent and most times I forget about it altogether. During one session Laurra was healing my left lower leg and as she was working on this area, I could feel an intense energy going out the bottom of my left foot. It was an amazing experience.

Emotionally, I have been able to let go of issues easier than I could in the past. Things that have bothered or “eaten away” at me for long periods of time are released after a healing session and are no longer a burden. Most of my issues are related to my own guilty feelings or someone else displacing their anger on me. During one session I felt someone was working on healing my “heavy heart”. At that time Laurra’s hands were working on my throat. I realized that a higher power was at work. A few minutes later when Laurra was guided to work on that area the heaviness was gone and has not returned. After the session I was able to share with Laurra the issue related to my “heavy heart” and she told me what was removed from my aura. The information Laurra gave me made sense and now I know that I will be able to move forward without that emotional guilt.

I took Reiki I and II classes from Laurra and with that I have been able to help myself and my clients One client, who has Alzheimer’s, can be very anxious and by doing Reiki, she will calm down. She loves to hold my hands to receive the energy. There have been times when she doesn’t speak and with the Reiki, she will start talking and become more active. This experience alone is well worth all the work I have done with Laurra.

Release of past life and ancestral healing. My whole life I have had problems with depression, anxiety, obsessive/compulsive disorders. These all were in the way when I was working and every year I had to go to a counselor and a psychiatrist and they would give me medicine but the same issues came back. I had breakdowns many times, but now with Laurra doing Reiki, light healing, releasing past life problems, shamanism, and astrology I can now say that I am able to be one with God (Source) and that is the best feeling ever. Also working with Laurra the old problems have not come back. I experience positivity and happiness that makes each day a Blessing.

Laurra, over the phone, did a Chakra Healing for me and it was phenomenal. When we were done, I felt physically very uplifted and over time there were other results from having the chakras’ blocked and then cleared. I recommend this to everyone.

Over the years Laurra taught me to eat right, not always did I stay on it, but I would go back and I would feel physically better. Through working with her, I realized my addictions to Sugar, and Salt. I also realized that Fats, Grains, and Dairy were causing me to feel bad. All of these caused me to be overweight and I could not breathe, get around very well, I had stomach problems, acid reflux, mind fog(couldn’t think straight and couldn’t remember), and my whole body ached from being over weight. I was in a program with Laurra for a week and I ate what I was suppose to and the withdrawals were there but with her help I was able to go on and not go back to eating poorly again. I know now that I will never be able to eat these foods again. I get my sugar from fruit, protein from nuts and meats and vitamins from vegetables. I am now 80 pounds lighter, in just one year and a half, and very healthy. My doctor and chiropractor cannot believe how good I am doing physically. The first 30 pounds came off in the first six weeks.

I know that there will be many more sessions with Laurra as I learn more and need support. I have lived her teachings and followed through on her help sessions and know personally that they all work. I am a better person both physically and mentally because of her.”

My first Reiki session with Laurra was August 11, 2014. I had a myriad of serious health issues and my sister who lives in New Hampshire had heard of Laurra and her wonderful reputation for healing. Leslie’s intention was for her (my sister) to go to Laurra and have her do a healing session on me with her. Laurra explained that it is more effective if I could contact her directly. So I did.

My health issues were:

• Had 2 total knee replacement surgeries and 2 years after the last one, it got infected. So, I had a revision, the knee was taken out, spacers put in and the infection was treated. I had antibiotic IV’s every 12 hours for a month. I could not put any weight on that leg for 3 months when a new knee was placed.
• I started walking in October and in November (2013) I received a breast cancer diagnosis. In January 2014 I had a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction the same day.
• That winter and spring I had Capsular Contracture and an infecton in one breast. I didn’t know what I had I just knew that I felt bad and had no energy.
• I went to a plastic surgeon in Helena in May 2014 and he took the implant out and treated the infection. For the next year I had 6 surgeries to correct the initial reconstruction.
• I was on my 7th protocol for glaucoma and since none of them had been successful in bringing my eye pressure down and I was continuing to loose optic nerve, I had surgery in one eye in September 2014. I was fearful of blindness and the glaucoma specialist I was seeing said at every appointment “you are so young for this”, meaning I had more time to loose my vision. I am in my 60’s and most people in his waiting room looked to be at least in their 80’s.
• Obviously, my immune system was weakened.
• I have been on pills for pain, for energy, for sleeping and I know none of these are good for my body.

HOW I HAVE BENEFITED FROM MY SESSIONS WITH LAURRA

For those of you looking for a healer in your life I will tell you that I have benefited greatly from my sessions with Laurra Sheldon. She is gentle and encouraging, yet very honest in also telling you what she and your guides see as your healing path, and the causes of your illness. Some of the things she has shared with me that were eye-opening:

• Illness happens for us, not to us. If I look at the ways it has benefited me, I won’t need it anymore. She added that I needed strength and stamina and I can get it by getting rest for myself.
• She more or less said that saying “no” and not doing everything that is expected of me (by my spouse or whoever) is honoring my integrity.
• She said that whenever we compromise our integrity, what we know to be right or true, WE COMPROMISE OUR OWN IMMUNITY.
• I have always felt that I have a spiritual path, but Laurra really awakened that for me.
• Through her, I know that my Higher Power, my Divine Presence lives right INSIDE of me. I just need to believe it, feel it and ask for help. This sounds simple, but simply talking to this presence is part of it.
• That is the same with my angels or guides. We all have at least a room full of these spirits and their only purpose is to help us. BUT WE MUST ASK. That message was given over and over. We not only must ask, we must be specific in what we need or want. I really do feel surrounded and loved and protected by these spiritual beings. And, I do talk to them.
• I also find myself praying for other peoples spirit guides, say people in the operating room before surgery, my spouse, anyone struggling etc.
• She has given me other practical tools, like what to say when I feel like I’m getting a cold, “God Grant Me Immunity” or If I need support in communicating there is a specific angel to ask: Haniel.

Although I have continued to have issues, I feel so supported and I feel better! I have even felt miraculous healing, when cultures to test for bacterial and fungal infection that doctors expected to be positive for infection tested negative for the infection.

I am not alone; help is all around me; light is all around me; I feel better; I am focused on health and I attribute all of this to my sessions with Laurra Sheldon.
